Learning Resources
Welcome to The Charities File Learning Resources. Whether you are an Executive Director with or without support staff, a volunteer Treasurer who has been tasked with filing your charity’s annual return, a volunteer fundraiser or a board member with fiduciary responsibilities, this is the place for you!
To increase awareness of compliance issues and put resources directly into the hands of charities, The Charities File is making the learning resources for this project available online in two easy to follow modules:
To find out which module best suits your role and responsibilities, take the introductory survey or read about both modules below.
Module One: Ten Practices for Managing Your Charitable Status
This module is best suited to senior staff and board members who require an overview of key information about the T3010B Information Return but not necessarily all the operational details.
Module Two: Training and Resources to Complete the T3010B
Upon completion of this module you will understand more about the roles and responsibilities of charities, the challenges facing the charitable sector with respect to T3010A compliance, and the general requirements for T3010A reporting.
