With the support of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) the Legal Information Society of Nova Scotia (LISNS) is developing online resources and training material to help charities comply with Canada Revenue requirements. The two new online resources for registered charities are:

The Guide: A new section of the existing Guide to Law for Nonprofit Organizations in Atlantic Canada. This part of the online Guide will explain the reporting requirements associated with the Registered Charity Information Return (Form T3010A) in plain language.

The Form: An online annotated version of Form T3010A. Simple pop-up notes will appear as you go through the form and the associated worksheets explain what to do.
