Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) of the Government of Canada has funded a series of community-based projects to help small and rural charities meet their reporting obligations. Some projects will offer training sessions in 2009 – 2010 and many have useful websites.

Canadian Association of the Deaf (CAD)
- Project Name -- Compliance in the Disability Charity Sector
- Purpose -- Educate charities serving disabled persons about CRA compliance by tailoring to their needs, for example, with sign language. The goal is to provide charities with tools and presentations to help them with tax problems. Their presentations are free of charge and will cover governance issues, goods and services taxation, keeping books and records, and fundraising.

Capacity Builders Charity Law Information Program
- Project Name -- Capacity Builders Charity Law Information Program
